About the Division 

The Strategy and Planning Division’s primary role is to:

  • Shape and implement the organisation strategy to deliver greater value to sector stakeholders and beneficiaries
  • Grow SG Enable’s (SGE) thought leadership in disability (such as emerging areas) through landscape and evidence-based research and a tactical international relations strategy and approach
  • Partner Ministry of Social and Family Develop to develop and implement sector-wide strategy projects in the disability sub-sector to improve service delivery and professional capabilities in the sub-sector
  • Manage strategic-level engagements of key disability sector players to improve coordination of efforts within the disability sub-sector

Job Description

Key Duties & Responsibilities / Work Areas

  • Conduct research on Expert Panels locally and internationally, including the Terms of Reference
  • Conduct landscape scans of research articles/journals and news /evidence-based approaches for interventions and programmes on disability locally and internationally; and develop a research repository
  • Support the development of an approach where key emerging social issues for Persons with Disabilities can be identified and highlighted for SG Enable to examine
  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Good organisation skills
  • Good written and verbal communication in English
  • Interest in researching on disability-related news and information
  • Interest in solving system-level problems within the disability sector
