The Service Development (Employment) Division aims to enhance and increase employment and employability opportunities for persons with disabilities. The team works with private and public employers, industry partners, social service agencies, and stakeholders such as Special Education Schools, Institutes of Higher Learning and hospitals, to design and implement pilot initiatives to further this cause.

Job Description

Project Description

The intern will support the team in the planning and operations of both new and existing employment initiatives.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities / Work Areas

  • Process claims for the Career Services Grant.
  • Support in the planning and implementation for the Supported Employment Grant.
  • Record approved applications for the Place-and-Train (PnT) Programme.
  • Support in improving administration processes for the PnT Programme, Inclusive Hiring Queen Bee Grant and Employer Development Grant.

 

Requirements

  • Open to candidates with a background in Data Analytics, Psychology, Business Administration or Social Sciences
  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
  • Possess strong organisational and analytical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
