Job Description

Responsibilities:

The legal intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting the SEA legal department (with geographical coverage of South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand) in a wide range of legal work including: 

•Provide overall legal support to Sephora legal team

•Conduct legal research and analysis on legal issues with cross-border element and provide legal advice in business/ consumer, e-commerce, data protection and real estate laws

•Draft and review commercial contracts

•Assist to manage corporate secretarial affairs of Sephora group companies

•Assist to draft legal work flows, guidelines and processes


Basic Qualifications:

 •Good understanding of legal principles

•Relevant Bachelor's Degree in law 

•Strong attention to detail coupled with a solution orientated approach

•Able to thrive in a busy, commercially oriented and hands-on environment

•Must possess strong organisational, time management and communication skills

•Must be a self-starter, able to work independently as well as a solid team member

•Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

•Some prior experience within an in-house legal environment would be a plus
