Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in HSSE Compliance: Support the HSSE team in ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, security, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation: Assist in the documentation, analysis, and investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses. Help identify root causes and contribute to the development of preventive measures.
  • Safety Training and Awareness: Collaborate with the HSSE team to develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors. Assist in promoting a culture of safety and awareness throughout the organization.
  • Environmental Monitoring and Reporting: Support environmental monitoring activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. Assist in identifying opportunities for environmental improvement initiatives.
  • Emergency Response Planning: Contribute to developing, reviewing, and testing emergency response plans and procedures. Assist in organizing drills and exercises to evaluate response effectiveness.
  • Documentation and Recordkeeping: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date HSSE documentation, records, and databases. Help ensure proper documentation of safety meetings, inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by the HSSE Manager or Supervisor.


Requirements:

  • Background in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in health, safety, security, and environmental management within the renewable energy industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Powerapps and Powerautomate is a plus.
  • Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
  • Knowledge of relevant HSSE regulations, standards, and best practices is a plus
