Sembcorp Industries Ltd – Environmental Sustainability Intern

Responsibilities

1) Perform plant performance analysis using available software tools to analyse plants carbon footprint behavior

2) Prepare technical calculations and reports to benchmark machines and equipment performance 

3) Validate environmental data and performance

4) Support the upkeep of conventional and renewables database for issue analysis, management reports 

5) Assist in policies and standards review and new Standards development (Physical Risks, ESIA, Climate risks etc for markets applications)

6) Support the development of training materials for Markets on environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) requirements

7) Research and analyse industry trends on physical risks management framework and best practices

8) Conduct research on international biodiversity guidelines / standards in key Markets

9) Utilise online tools (i.e. IBAT, Aquaduct) to screen existing SCI operations and assess their environmental and biodiversity impacts

Requirements:

Background in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
