Who Are We?

Scholar Basketball Academy (SBA) is one of the leading Basketball academies in Singapore. It was founded by its very own head trainer : Wong Wei Long, who is currently playing for the Singapore Slingers.

SBA was borne from the belief of using hard work and dedication to become a good sportsman. We strongly believe that it is important to cement an individual's fundamental skills through practical yet innovative workouts in order to be a better Basketball player. Leveraging on the vast experience that our professional trainers had gathered in their international games, our specialized training programs are tailored to simulate competition-like situations that may occur during a real Basketball competition. This is to prepare our trainees to handle situations in a realistic manner.

Why Us?

With Wong's vast experience and network, he was able to bring in experienced and professional trainers into the academy. In order to provide better trainer to trainee ratio, he believes that small group learning is beneficial for learners as they will have a better focus and understanding during a lesson.

SBA's trainings encompass innovative and customized drills, and these are excluded from normal school trainings. We utilize professional training equipment to instill habits and enhance muscle development for our trainees, in order to prepare them for their tournaments.

We are looking towards the improvement of our company and looking out for interns whom are keen to unleash their potential in their specialisation.
