Position Overview
We are looking for an IT intern to join our Information Technology Team. This role will support multiple functions, including Product, Project, Infrastructure, and Security. Responsibilities include assisting the Product team with testing for SBI DM’s financial platforms, supporting project coordination and tracking activities, and helping the Infrastructure and Security teams perform system‑related tasks. The role requires someone who is diligent, methodical, and motivated to understand the end‑to‑end workings of our product, project, infrastructure, and security functions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Support quality assurance activities by reviewing requirements, writing test cases, executing test scenarios, and logging defects for SBI DM’s financial platforms.
- Assist program manager to coordinate and track project activities, including preparing status updates, following up on action items, and maintaining project documentation.
- Contribute to improving internal workflows by helping streamline testing practices, reporting processes, and coordination activities.
- Assist with other tasks related to IT team, such as updating trackers, organizing material for meetings, documentation updates and preparing reports when required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and able to commit full-time for the duration of the internship (6 months).
- Basic understanding of software development, QA concepts, and system workflows.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and systems thinking or design principles is a plus
- Creative with a problem-solving mindset and curiosity to explore new ideas.
- Able to commit full-time for 6 months.
