Savant Degrees – Business Development Intern

WellAway is a health tech start-up backed by Pan Malayan Pharmaceuticals, that aims to provide familiar, remote healthcare through an innovative digital platform to travellers who are overseas.

Your responsibilities may include:
- Pitching to venture capitalists to bring in funding for WellAway
- Keeping up to date with pharmaceutical and telemedicine industry trends, researching on the newest innovations happening in related industries and applying them to WellAway.
- Identifying partners, building ecosystems and network to allow effective execution of WellAway’s mission and vision
- Manage and maintain strategic partner relationships
- Collaborating with senior management, digital consultants, software developers to execute the mission and vision of WellAway
- Liaising with internal operations, sales, branding, finance team to establish culture, develop branding, and concretise goals for WellAway
Qualifications:
- Currently living in Singapore
- Fresh grads and/or current undergraduates are welcome to apply
- Familiarity and interest in trends, innovations and challenges occurring within both the tech and healthcare sector
-  Strong preference for those who have a track record for entrepreneurship and /or pitching experience
- Excellent communication skills; proven ability to effectively interact with and present (verbally and in writing) to internal and external stakeholders
- Personable and energetic communication style with the ability to convey credibility
- Self-motivated team players; proactive in seeking opportunities for business growth
- Ability to think outside the box, creative and possess a problem-solving mentality
