Rutledge Omni Services Pte Ltd – Workshop Technician

Responsibilities

• Proficient in handling, repairing and testing of safety and protection equipment
• Perform refilling of up to 6000 psi on high-pressure cylinders and self-contained breathing apparatus
• Perform calibration on the portable gas detector
• Equipment servicing not limited to grinding, chipping of rusty part and painting
• Install, test, and commissioning of gas detection & air loop systems
• Provide technical support/training of equipment to field engineers and customers
• Perform housekeeping to ensure cleanliness in the workshop
• Other ad-hoc duties as required to support company operations

Requirements

• Minimum ITE education in a mechanical or electronic discipline
• Preferred with prior field experience in rig facility in petrochemical and shipyard for installation, testing and commissioning
• Having work-safety related training and certificates
• Able to handle a heavy load of goods in a workshop environment
• Able to operate Reach Truck preferred
• Able to work in a confined space environment
• Familiar with MS Office and Outlook
• Willing to travel for occasional short overseas job assignment
