Position Summary:
In this Internship, you’ll be part of the General Counsel Commercial Team, which is a customer facing team as part of the Civil Aerospace Customer Team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and managing commercial relationships, both internally and with external customers across Asia Pacific and Greater China regions
- Perusing opportunities to maximise profit
- Negotiating resolution of claims, disputes and litigation to minimise cost and risk
- Managing customer restructurings and bankruptcies
- Managing internal approvals to Vice President level
- Providing advice and guidance relating to contract interpretation
- Drafting and negotiating through to conclusion all contractual documentation associated with above issues
- Delivering and supporting continuous functional improvement initiatives as required
Who we’re looking for:
- University students studying Business, Finance or Law related subjects
- Expected to graduate with 2:1 honours; ideally in the final year of study
- Keen interest in aviation business
- Great communication skills
- Well-rounded experience
- Good attention to detail
