Rohde & Schwarz Asia Pte Ltd – Intern, Mechanical

Rohde & Schwarz develops, produces and markets a wide range of electronic capital goods for industry, infrastructure operators and government customers. The independent group is among the technology and market leaders in all of its business fields, including wireless communications and RF test and measurement, broadcast and media, air traffic control and military radiocommunications, cybersecurity and network technology.

Your Tasks:

• Participate in mechanical design & development of mechanical components, subsystems and support of product life cycle activities.
• Assist in design and validation for proof of concepts, functional models.
• Assist in preparation of cost estimates for designs and products.
• Contribute to product design/development objectives and able to devise related strategies and milestones.

Your Qualifications:

• Enrolled Bachelor’s/ Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent

• Basic experience in using SolidWorks/Siemens NX Industrial or similar CAD Tools
• Interested in development of mechanical design solutions
• Keen to learn about new technologies and prefers hands-on work
• Good understanding RF technologies and interested to work on broad range of engineering work

• Internship duration for a period of at least 6 months
