Job Description

We are offering an internship position within Indirect Purchasing in   Singapore, commencing start of July 2018 for a duration of six months.

The   focus is to support the purchasing process for marketing services, in   the 6 countries of Southeast Asia (SEA), Australia and New Zealand, as   well as support the local team of Indirect Purchasing located in   Singapore.

  • Developing request for information (RFI) and evaluation of requests for quotation (RFQ) offers
  • Initial contact (supplier sourcing) and follow through correspondences with suppliers
  • Liaise with Commodity Buyers in the region
  • Active use of Robert Bosch’s online tender tool to support Q&A platform
  • Drafting presentations for internal stakeholder meetings
  • Support to the Lead Buyer and Commodity Buyers

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be enrolled throughout internship period, or plan to pursue further studies
  • For    foreign students studying in Singapore on Student's Pass, you must    fulfill the following requirements to be able to do full-time   internship  during the school term:
    • You are a full-time matriculated or registered student in one of the approved institutions.
    • You hold a Student Pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
    • The    internship is under an industrial attachment programme conducted by    your university or educational institution. The industrial attachment    can be either compulsory or elective but it must contribute towards   your  graduation requirements.

  • For foreign students studying overseas, you must be eligible for the Work Holiday Programme (WHP)
