Job Description

From Jan. 2018, for at least 6 months

Job Description

  • To fabricate transparent Ferroelectric EAP actuator films and characterize the actuation performance
  • To design and fabricate array-type haptic actuator
  • To improve haptic vibration performance of Ferroelectric polymer based actuator
  • To fabricate and improve transparent EAP-based sensor, and integrate it with actuator layer for haptic feedback transducer

Candidate background:

  • Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE)
  • Materials Science & Engineering (MSE)
  • Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE)

Pre-requisites:

  • Laboratory hands-on skills
  • Knowledge in DSP (digital signal processing) and Instrumentation and control engineering

All applicants must be currently enrolled in an institution (throughout internship period) or have registered interest to pursue further studies.
