Your contribution to something big
- Development of planar, microfabricatedelectrochemical ion sensor concepts for on-site and real-time monitoring
- Evaluation of sensing materials and layer stacks to improve the sensing performance and stability
- Sensor fabrication and prototype development to validate the new concepts for different use cases
- Perform electrochemical measurements and material characterization to gain deep understanding of the sensing mechanism
What distinguishes you
- Outstanding BSc degree in Chemistry & Biological Chemistry, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or similar education background
- Research experience in Analytical Chemistry or Electrochemical devices will be preferred
- Proficiency in sensors and transducers and ideally experience with device fabrication
- Innovative, self-motivated and strategic thinker with entrepreneurial orientation and enthusiasm for biosensors based innovations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Team player and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
