Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research, develop quantitative analyses, and process information to provide recommendations to management to drive strategic business decisions
  • Manage the delivery of projects while keeping all stakeholders informed
  • Develop a detailed understanding of our competition
  • Conduct industry market analysis
  • Improve on our current work in progress, and re-strategize if needed
  • Work with management to create slides and strategy documents
  • Review communication with stakeholders and incorporate feedback into initiatives
  • Assist in building business cases in support of key decisions
  • Diagnose issues, prioritize and escalate to management when needed
  • Recognize potential risks, and areas for improvement and develop plans to implement

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree / polytechnic diploma holder or student in an accounting, business management or finance discipline
  • Ability to conduct rigorous analysis (both quantitative and qualitative)
  • Strong communication skills; ability to influence and articulate a variety of issues to different audiences, tailoring messages accordingly
  • Ability to multitask, and create solutions to new problems quickly
  • Ability to perform in a fast-moving environment driven by results
  • Ability to read and understand financial statements (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheets, Cashflow statements)
