The Role of a Recruiter

A Recruiter’s job is a hybrid role – it is not just about recruitment. It also encompasses businessdevelopment, account management, marketing, customer service all rolled into one. It is aboutunderstanding people’s needs and motivations, and managing clients’ and candidates’ expectations. Itis also about building relationships. A challenging role indeed, but a very meaningful one!Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Initiate a range of business development and marketing activities to build new corporate clients and grow your own client portfolio.
  • Account Management: Manage internal and external stakeholders and clients on their hiring needs.
  • Talent Acquisition: Engage in candidate sourcing activities, such as publishing job advertisements and conducting candidate referrals, to ensure a consistent supply of candidates to meet client's needs.
  • Candidate Management: Manage candidates’ job needs and expectations, their payroll and employment benefits.


  • Minimum Degree in ANY Discipline
  • Min. 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Applicants with good track record in sports or other co-curricular activities in school will have an added advantage
  • Strong interest in marketing and/or business development with good business acumen
  • Possess enthusiasm and most importantly, passion for people
