Randstad Singapore – PR & Communications Intern

Randstad is a global leader in the human resources services industry and we specialise in recruitment, talent management and human resources solutions. The marketing & communications team at Randstad Singapore supports the regional Southeast Asian business (Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong SAR) in providing data-driven insights on the labour market and talent trends to some of the world’s largest companies and coolest startups. 

We are looking for a highly-motivated, self-driven Communications Intern to join our team. If you’re creative, gung-ho and is a social butterfly, you’ll have the opportunity to work on impactful global and local projects as well as gain exposure to the media and social media landscape. 

Applicants need to be able to commit to at least three months of internship but six would be preferred. 

Job Scope 

• Media engagement and monitoring - Develop media pitching angles, media pitching, draft press releases, prepare media interview briefing documents, update media list, prepare media coverage and analysis reports
• Content development - Creative brainstorm, perform subject research, draft articles for job seekers, design/adapt creative assets for media and social media, creative copywriting for social media and email marketing campaigns
  
• Regional communications liaison - Participate in local and regional meetings, collaborate with marketing teams in Asia Pacific to ensure continuous sharing of content and press materials as well as timely social media posting. 

Requirements

• Has tertiary background or work experience in communications, public relations or journalism 
• Strong command of English with outstanding writing skills
• Great computer skills and strong familiarity with social media 
• Has experience working on Adobe Photoshop and InDesign 
• Quick learner who listens and ask questions 
• Positive disposition and able to play well with others 
• Is a news-junkie
