Job Description
About the Role:
As an accounting intern at Rakuten Asia, you will be supporting the company’s accounting operations, with a focus on general ledger and fixed assets activities.
Responsibilities:
- Preparations and revamp of the BS and PL schedules
- Reconciliation of intangible assets
- Reconciliations of bank statements
- Management of the inventory listing
- Fixed assets master record updates and tagging
- Support fixed assets and inventory count
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS
- Proficient in Microsoft excel (Knowledge of advanced excel functions is highly advantageous)
- Meticulous, organized, and strong attention to details
- Good communications and interpersonal skills
