Job Description

The Quantitative Research Associate will join the Singapore office as part of a 20+ person PRS IN VIVO Asia team and will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of quantitative consumer research studies mainly across Asia (and occasionally outside, e.g. Europe).

Daily responsibilities will include study design and fielding, data analysis and report preparation. This will involve working with your team to ensure that the research properly addresses client marketing issues through working with PRS fields and other suppliers to ensure that the studies are implemented correctly.


Primary responsibilities will include:

Coordinate all aspects of day-to-day project management including:

Questionnaire design

Develop project specifications for internal operations teams

Reviewing and finalizing necessary stimuli with internal and external partners based on client feedback and approval

Developing fieldwork instructions

Guiding production and shipping of project materials

Participation in fieldwork team briefings

Monitoring fieldwork quotas and production

Communicating with coding/photography/graphics vendors

Checking and posting of data for analytical reports

Design and charting of PowerPoint presentations

Maintain contact with internal departments, field personnel, and all outside vendors on day-to-day project issues such as:

Questionnaire changes and revisions

Questions and requests from field service agencies

Any other special requests from clients and/or vendors as they arise


Minimum Requirements:

Maximum two years’ experience in primary consumer research

Must be proficient in English; Mandarin fluency is a strong plus   

Proven ability to take responsibility, think analytically, creatively problem solve, efficiently prioritize, communicate clearly & meet deadlines

Ability to work independently as well as part of a local and remote team

Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint required 

A valid passport/IC and willingness to travel at short notice

College/University Degree in Business Administration/Marketing, Sociology or Psychology
