Job Description

Digital Trade Facilitation - Commercial team

 

The Opportunity

The Commercial team works closely with the Proxtera leadership to inform strategic decision-making—including insights into the market, customers and competitors -- and run the Proxtera trade facilitation service. The Commercial team is the primary interface and the custodian of all relationships with Proxtera's partner platforms, service providers and other stakeholders.

The team is also responsible for gathering strategic data and information, and other business analytics in support of strategic planning and execution.

What you will Do

  • Identify and collect appropriate customer, market, and/or operational data to ensure demand and supply requirements are met in a timely manner.

  • Conduct market research for SG trade corridors, buyer behavior insights and market dynamics. 

  • Translate data into executable market and intelligence reports.

  • Coordinate requirements with platform partners in a prompt, efficient and effective manner.

Your Value-Add

  • Demonstrate strength in problem solving and analytics and capable of driving insight to action.

  • Able to confidently and independently communicate via phone/email with platform representatives to gather information in a timely manner.

  • Ability to articulate with strong presentation skills and excellent written communication abilities.

  • High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite (in particular, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills) is essential.

  • Working knowledge of an additional ASEAN/South Asian language will be a plus but not mandatory.

  • Based in Singapore with the right to work.
