Powerhouse AI – Backend Python Developer Intern

Powerhouse AI is a venture-backed (Y combinator) fast-growing Singaporean start-up with a vision to transform warehouses into powerhouses by empowering warehouse employees to maximize their productivity and accuracy. We are offering a visual AI-enabled phone application that can count your warehouse inventory in seconds. It can accurately verify and (cycle) count your pallets and boxes saving 60% in labor costs and warehouse downtime. 

Responsibilities:

• Write effective, scalable code
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Integrate user-facing elements into applications
• Test and debug programs
• Improve functionality of existing systems
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
• Assess and prioritize feature requests

Requirements and skills:

• Work experience as a Python Developer
• Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask or Pyramid)
• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
• Good problem-solving skills
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
