Popsical was founded in 2016 by three karaoke enthusiasts who were determined to revolutionise the karaoke experience. While karaoke systems have been around for a long time, they are often large and bulky. Aside from the microphones and remote control, these systems require users to also have a mixer, as well as the karaoke device itself.
Since its first sale in 2017, Popsical quickly went to becoming the best-selling Karaoke system in Singapore. The Popsical Remix promises to push the boundaries of an exceptional singing experience. Its unique self-updating library of over 200,000 songs in 14 languages ensures that everyone can sing the song they love. The Popsical Remix is equipped with a suite of vocal effects that can be controlled directly from Popsical Karaoke mobile app.
This is an internship position: As a social media marketing intern will be our bridge to the social media world. You are great at social media marketing and are always excited to capture moments and document them on social media. You will be in charge of populating our social media accounts with fresh content.
Responsibilities
- Create and executive social branding content on our channels, including but not limited to Instagram and Facebook community.
- Design and execute social media campaigns (We have our own designer)
- Conceptualise, execute and track the performance of our social media engagements to increase our followers and improve our engagement rates.
- Monitoring social media platforms for trending news, ideas and feedback.
- Coordinate with social media influencers and managing deliverables and timelines.
Requirements
- Must have a passion for social media & marketing
- Loves music and able to belt out a tune or two (Probably)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hardworking, dedicated and a fast learner
- Experience with the major social media platforms including Facebook & Instagram if any. Please share your portfolio, if any, in your application.
