Poco Productions is a video production company with in-house audio capabilities that specializes in event audio-visual solutions, providing creative and technical solutions ranging from corporate video productions, live streams, sound design, concert audio-visual recordings and event sound support. 

Our objective is to provide efficient, one-stop audio-visual production solutions to all clients ranging from corporations, government organisations, agencies to independent musicians. Our main service offerings include corporate video production services and event video solutions like multi-cam live streams, projection multimedia, concert recordings, event live feed, post-event highlight and more. We also have an in-house audio team that provides onsite orchestral recording, live sound reinforcement, mixing and mastering services. 

Job Description

As a Creative / Videography Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of video production and editing. You will work closely with the video production team to create engaging and high-quality video content for various purposes, such as music videos, concert recordings, event highlights, and internal communications. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with video shoots, editing raw footage, and contributing to the overall production process.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting with video shoots:

    • Setting up and organizing equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
    • Assisting the production team during shoots, such as handling props, operating cameras, and managing equipment.
  2. Editing and post-production:

    • Reviewing raw footage and selecting the best takes for further editing.
    • Trimming and rearranging footage to create a cohesive story or message.
    • Enhancing video and audio quality through color correction, audio mixing, and other editing techniques.
    • Incorporating graphics, animations, and visual effects when necessary.
  3.  Collaborating with the team
    • Working closely with the video production team to understand project requirements and objectives.
    • Providing creative input and suggestions during brainstorming sessions.
    • Communicating effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
  4. Learning and development:

    • Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video production and editing.
    • Seeking opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge in video-related areas.
    • Actively participating in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Requirements:

  1. Education and experience:

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in film production, video editing, multimedia, or a related field.
    • Previous experience with video production and editing, either through coursework, internships, or personal projects, is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Interest in music-related production work is a plus.
  2. Technical skills:

    • Proficiency in video editing software such as Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
    • Basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting setups, and audio recording.
    • Familiarity with visual effects, motion graphics, and color correction techniques is a plus.
  3. Creative and interpersonal skills:

    • Strong creative thinking and storytelling abilities.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
    • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt to evolving project needs.
