We were founded in 2009 and are proudly Singaporean owned and run. As a Fund Management Platform, we have more than 10 funds in different strategies and asset classes. The Opportunity
Pilgrim Partners Asia (Pte.) Ltd is looking for a Web Developer Intern to maintain and improve existing web applications according to our company's needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and to gain exposure to the hedge fund industry. As an intern at our company, you will work as part of our development team. You should also be able to work independently, have a strong passion in financial markets and have a keen eye for detail.
Job Description
- Responsible for uploading and maintain database records of our various funds on existing web applications.
- Maintain and improve our existing web applications in mainly PHP, Python and MySQL.
- Gather and refine specifications and client requirements based on technical needs.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Create and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Internship period: 2-3 months full-time.
Requirements
- GCE 'A'/'O' Level holders with coding skills are welcomed to apply. Diploma/Degree/Certification in Information Technology or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to write code in PHP, Python and MySQL.
- Flair for web design is a plus.
- Adequate understanding in concepts like web security and session management.
- Familiarity with Unix is advantageous.
- A team player with good communication skills.
