Operations:

The scope to learn in this role will be significant as this is a front to back operations role, supporting the traders in the whole trade life-cycle. Due of the technical nature of the fund, there is a large emphasis on straight through processing and improving those that are already in place.

Duties include monitoring of settlements, liaising with brokers & counterparts to resolve settlement issues, reconciliations – cash, trade, and position, static data management, daily reporting, ad-hoc query investigation and project work as required for portfolio managers’ dashboards and working spreadsheets for portfolio management and analysis

Work with third party service providers such as custodians, fund administrators, brokers and other external parties on all fund operational matters

Assist in setting up databases/operational system for new fund launches

Client Servicing:

  • Primary contact for clients and internal stakeholders for enquiries on investments, funds’ information and on-boarding procedures

Oversee and monitor the entire KYC process including coming due and overdue KYC cases

To understand the KYC/ AML Standards, Account Documentation procedures, Local Laws and Regulations and implement related control processes

  • Liaison between internal stakeholders and outsourced partners on on-boarding details, fund closing deadlines and subscription processes
  • Generating monthly performance reports for distribution to investors, and to update performance data on databases for marketing purposes

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Finance/Business.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • The candidate should preferably possess working knowledge of Excel VBA and Python
  • Good communications skills and a team player
