Pilgrim Partners Asia (Pte.) Ltd is looking for an Information Systems Intern in Singapore to design, develop and maintain financial applications according to our company's needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and to gain exposure to the hedge fund industry. As an intern at our company, you will work as part of our development team. You should be able to work independently, have a strong interest in finance and have a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain applications in mainly Python, VBA and MySQL using provided APIs and libraries.
- Evaluate existing applications to improve their usability and functionality.
- Perform unit and integration testing of applications.
- Gather client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree/Certification in Business IT, Information Systems or related fields.
- Working knowledge in Python, VBA and Excel
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving capability
- Able to write robust code
- Willing to learn
- A team player with good communication skills
- Working knowledge in concepts like database design and database integrity.
- Familiar with Linux and source control.
