Founded in 1952, PPIS (Persatuan Pemudi Islam Singapura or the Singapore Muslim Women’s Association) is a non-profit organisation focused on community services. We are dedicated to working with women of all ages in carrying out their multiple roles in society. PPIS runs three core community services namely Family Services, Student Care and Early Childhood Education (ECE). With 16 centres island wide, the services work together to provide quality and holistic support as well as developmental programmes for women and their families. 

Job Description

 

1. Corporate Communications

  • Create, enhance and maintain a strong and positive overall corporate image for the organisation
  • Manage both internal and external communications platforms of the organisation, including Intranet, newsletters, marketing collaters, MediaWatch etc
  • Responsible for regularly updating corporate information in all marketing assets, which includes ppt deck, boiler plate, factsheet, corporate/programme videos, and profile write ups on all print and digital platforms (website, social channels, partner sites etc)
  • Responsible for the planning, development and production of corporate collaterals/gifts, communications collaterals/materials etc
  • Responsible for corporate events support, GOH liaison, preparation of Admin briefs, drafting of speeches, appreciation letters etc

2. Media Engagement

  • Execute integrated PR plans; craft media materials including press releases, speeches, message houses, media queries/responses and interview talking points
  • Cultivate media, manage media events, facilitate media interviews and monitor media coverage and undertake necessary follow-up actions
  • Establish a media monitoring plan on sectors important to PPIS including but not limited to women, family and children services

3. Marketing Communications

  • Execute an effective marketing and communications plan for both internal and external audiences, in line with PPIS’ strategic goals
  • Align media communications initiatives with marketing strategies and campaigns/activities for key projects
  • Assist in planning and executing of marketing communications activities
  • Any other internal and external communications matters on behalf of PPIS

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Candidate must have a recognised degree in in related fields
  • Candidate must have at least 3-5 years of experience in the media or PR industry, with a focus on PR/corporate and/or marketing communications,
  • Good written, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and project management capabilities.
  • Independent, analytical and creative yet meticulous
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite
