Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the sales administrator will provide administrative support and other office based duties for the sales team to ensure the day-to-day productivity and requirements of the team are achieved.

The Role:

  • Handle all correspondence and organise contacts between the sales team and their customers
  • Ensure telephone calls are manned and attended to promptly
  • Respond promptly to emails and phone requests for information or quotes
  • Manage the mail, courier deliveries, stationery, inventory and ensure proper housekeeping
  • Data Entry tasks for the Sales Team -maintaining and updating of customer records
  • Processing purchase requisition, invoices and accounts
  • Preparing estimates and quotations for customers
  • Drawing up proposals and agreements
  • Keeping records of sales targets and actual figures and compiling them into reports for the Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM)
  • Assist with familiarization trips, site inspections at the hotel level
  • Conduct telesales activities at the direction of the DOSM at the hotel level or the Regional Director of Sales Office at the regional sales office level.
  • Provide administrative and human resource support to the DOSM and the team
  • Ensure smooth running of the Sales Office’s administrative functions.

The Person:

  • Candidate with the relevant experience in the hotel industry will have an added advantage
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Possess good level of initiative and able to work independently
  • Possess high level of integrity and respect for others
  • Skilled in MS Office
