Job Description

Being at the frontline, the Guest Relation Officer is the first contact point when a guests check-in at a hotel. He/She has to deliver exceptional guests experience and manage guests professionally to promote positive impression.


Responsibilities 

  • Be familiar with the front office operations from Bell Services to checking out of guests
  • Ensure checking-in and out is done promptly and efficiently in accordance to the procedure of the Hotel
  • Give a warm welcome to guests on arrival and register them as well as issuing room keys by using the appropriate standards.
  • Interact and attend to guest’s enquires
  • Handle cashiering duties
  • Maintain the filing system and required reports
  • Handle guest reservation using Opera system
  • Perform room inspection
  • Provide information about amenities, area and venues and promote services
  • Anticipate guest needs and build rapport with customers
  • Ensure the safety, security and loss control policies and procedures are compiled with at the front counter and back office area.
  • Co-ordinate with housekeeping for clearing of rooms.
