Job Description

We are looking to hire an intern to support the Singapore HR team. The incumbent can look forward to an internship opportunity, to be involved in the full spectrum HR functions such as Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits and Employee Lifecycle. We are looking for an individual who is able to interact with internal stakeholders and employees across all levels and departments, and be trained to exercise strong independence to fulfill timelines during the internship.

The successful hire will be required to commit for at least up to 12 weeks or 16 weeks internship.

  • Talent Development – support team in preparation of succession planning exercise eg, validate accuracy and update employees’ employment records in global HR system, prepare printed materials and/or powerpoint slides. Support team on internal training coordination and administration.
  • Talent Acquisition – administrate talent acquisition matrices such as hiring cycle timeline.
  • Compensation and Benefits – perform mail merge functions to print out communication letters for annual merit increment and bonus to employees; file communication letters in employee personnel files.
  • Employee Lifecycle – review and track confirmation process of new hires; liaise with supervisors to provide completed Confirmation Evaluation Forms and prepare Letters of Confirmation, issue to employees, and file documents in employee personnel files.
  • Support team in any HR initiatives, projects or other adhoc tasks.

Job Requirements:
1. Minimally pursuing/graduated with a Diploma in Human Resources or Business Management.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office application such as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
3. Good written and verbal communication skills.
4. Must possess an action-oriented work ethic and multi-tasking capabilities.
5. Ability to handle employee data in high confidence.
6. Positive attitude, a team player and highly adaptable individual.
