OraHub Pte Ltd – Backend Developer Intern

Job Overview:

We are looking for a full-time/ part-time Backend Developer Intern to be part of our close-knitted, fast-moving team. You'll be part of a team that is responsible for the full software (mobile app & web app) development cycle, from conception to deployment. If you are a mission-driven team player who takes strong ownership of your projects, we are excited to meet you. A well-performing developer will have a choice to become the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) , and will receive a major stake in our company. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with Co-Founders to translate OraHub's business/ product strategy and UI/ UX designs into a robust software solution

- Build the back-end of applications by creating the necessary APIs for integration with front-end

- Develop back-end architecture for both client- and server-side

- Understanding of current backend codes and further development of codes

- Develop well-secured and functioning databases

- Troubleshooting and debugging

- Launching of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) app on the app store

- Most importantly: As one of our pioneering members, you will have a say in building a team of like-minded software developers.

Requirements:

- Experience as a Backend Developer and in web/ mobile applications

- Knowledge of common back-end languages (e.g. Javascript)

- Knowledge of common front-end languages is a plus (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.)

- Knowledge on JavaScript frameworks for backend (NodeJS, ExpressJS)

- Knowledge on databases (e.g. MongoDB, MySQL)

- A highly-driven individual who learns fast and is a good team player.

- Most importantly, intrinsically motivated to make an impact on the world!

- Able to start immediately and commit for a minimum of 3-6 months
