Job Description

Group Tax Accountant (Manufacturing / Trading)

  • Coordinate and manage all OM Group tax matters
  • Monitor compliances with incentive conditions in Singapore and Malaysia, with the assistance of local person-in-charge
  • Work with local tax advisors for all transfer pricing studies/reviews
  • Review transactions to assess the structure for inter-company transactions, as well as manage and execute special projects (e.g. BEPS 2.0) from time to time
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws (including future changes) and assess the impact to the Group
  • Travel as and when required to subsidiaries in other jurisdictions, up to 20%

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 2 – 4 years relevant tax planning and compliance experience
  • Extensive corporate tax knowledge and understanding compliance and procedures for corporations
  • Knowledge of indirect tax laws in various jurisdictions (including Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and China) is a plus
  • Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Able to work independently yet collaborate effectively with stakeholders and multi-geographic team to communicate the benefits of tax initiatives
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including sound presentation skills
