OliveAnkara is a slow-fashion brand that blends African fabrics and modern designs, putting quality and sustainability as main pillars of our vision.
We are looking for an intern that is passionate about fashion,sustainability and social media, and is eager to learn the business of fashion with a very hands-on approach, from inventory management to digital and social content production. We offer a fun environment and open minded approach, where the candidate will be given the opportunity to express his/her ideas and gain a comprehensive experience.
Full-time Internship
- Minimum 4 months commitment
- Working Hours: 10 am-7 pm 5 days/week / Some weekends required with working hours 10 am - 5 pm
- Salary: $700 - $900
Your responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Stock management online and in-store
- Ensure goods are correctly labeled and tagged
- Process sales and fulfillment
- Provide online customer service and sales support.
- Create and execute digital marketing campaigns, copywriting, visual asset design creation and content creation.
- Build and execute marketing strategy, including social media strategy
- Write, develop, and strategise online content production and scheduling, creation of email marketing campaigns
- Refresh and reinvent seasonal campaigns (holidays, high traffic moments, retail events).
- Product photography
- Assist with Other assignments instructed by the company
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Fashion-related degree are welcomed (but not necessary)
- Fresh grads welcomed.
- Experience in digital content production and comfortable with photography and photo editing.
- Experience in the fashion/retail industry, photography, web design and social media
- Self-starter, self-motivated with attention to detail
- Experience creating social and digital content
- Proficiency in photo editing software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Lightroom
- Savvy with the camera and has experience in fashion photography
- Strong communication skills - written & verbal
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Able to work well in a team or independently
- Willing to alternate working from home and in the office
- Able to deliver within tight timelines
- Agile multi-tasking
Minimum 4 months commitment
As you will be working very closely with the founder, we are happy to expose you to other aspects of entrepreneurship and fashion business if it interests you. This includes, but is not limited to, the design process, production merchandising, photoshoots, retail planning, pop-ups and other marketing channels so that you can make the most out of this internship experience.
