We’re a young, vibrant and fast-growing e-commerce startup that specializes in direct-to-consumer lifestyle products. We currently own two brands, one of which is Waistlab (https://waistlab.co/).
As we’re quickly expanding and launching a third brand soon, we’re on the hunt for someone who is passionate about social media marketing and designing. You know that different social media platforms require different sets of content and visuals to optimise their performance and reach. You’re a bold individual with fresh ideas about content creation and how to market them on social media!
Working closely with our senior social media marketing executive, you will have the exciting opportunity to build our brand identities and market it on different social media channels (e.g Facebook, Instagram). Watch your ideas come to life as you create compelling content that will inspire the audience to make positive changes to their lifestyles!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Flex your creative muscle! Design and create graphic collateral for various marketing channels (e.g Instagram feed and stories, Facebook ads, Shopify banners) that are not only eye-catching, but are also useful and relevant for our audience
Build a social media marketing funnel; identify the various customer touchpoints
Plan and develop a monthly social media calendar where you’ll be in charge of creating content that the audience will be interested in
Manage the overall aesthetic of the feed on various social media channels
You will also be assigned ad-hoc duties from time to time.
TRAINING PERIOD
We understand that working in a brand new environment may be daunting. To help you adapt and make a smooth transition, there is a two-month training period designed for you.
During this training period, you will have the opportunity to develop and oversee your own unique business project which will be implemented in the company!

JOB REQUIREMENTS
We most definitely welcome fresh polytechnic graduates! You should be a local polytechnic graduate from 2015 onwards, preferably with a diploma in Mass Communications, Design or similar field
Proficiency in Adobe creative suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
A portfolio that demonstrates your creative designs and how you conceptualized them. It should prove that you have an eye for design, beauty and aesthetics
You should have some knowledge of social media marketing funnels. If you have hands-on experience, that’s even better!
Comfortable with speaking to customers directly on social media
Ability to write persuasive copy is a plus
Excellent time and project management skills as you will be working on multiple projects with tight deadlines
