Job Description

During your training as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) intern, you will become an integral part of the Sales Team working with Fortune 500 enterprises around the world creating an impact by simplifying their IT infrastructure.

This role will be responsible for calling into both existing and new customers, working with marketing to develop strategy and with inside sales to build brand. In addition, the SDR Intern will also work cooperatively with internal and external partners to improve the velocity of business and to create solutions that serve the best interests of our customers and Nutanix.

Your Impact

  • Generate leads through high activity levels- 50-80 phone calls and/or emails per day
  • Researching prospective clients, adding valuable data to new and existing accounts as well as acquiring high-level contacts by leveraging third-party databases and social networking sites to assist the Sales Development Team
  • Assist the current Sales teams by strategically developing and identifying accounts that have the potential for revenue opportunities
  • Use advanced prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator/Outreach to uncover new opportunities and build trust with prospects
  • Keep up to date with the technology industry and competitive landscape

  • Learn how the datacenter looks like in various industries
  • Learn how solutions in the market, which help organizations modernize their datacentres
  • Learn to use advanced prospecting sales tools
  • Develop sales skills through the various training programs available to you.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Tenacious and ambitious with a strong work ethic and passion for selling
  • Previous internship experience in sales, consulting or a related field, or at a technology company would be an added advantage

Traineeship Duration: 

  • 9 months

 

Eligibility Criteria for SGUnited Traineeship:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from ITEs, polytechnics, universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020
