NTUC LearningHub – Senior (Backend / Data) Developer

NTUC LearningHub (LHUB™) was corporatised on 1 August 2004. Initially set up in 1982 as the NTUC Computer Training Centre, a division under the Skills Development Department of the NTUC Administration and Research Unit, the organisation has evolved to meet the burgeoning training needs of Singaporeans to continuously keep pace with the dynamic business economy.

Senior (Backend / Data) Developer (X3)

• Develop and maintain the applications development for various internal projects.
• Build APIs to connect with partners
• Work with a team of developers/engineers to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices
• Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
• Support in system analysis and drafting technical documentation.
• Support the system for security and testing requirements.
• Support the system deployment and operations.

Qualifications

• 5 years/above experience in API development (REST & SOAP);
• Familiar with SQL/MYSQL, .NET/Python/Java/SSRS/BI Tools;
• Familiar with various types of testing methodology (PenTest, Regression Testing, Functional & Non-functional) Testing;
• Able to support the product rollout/deployment and operations in off-hour time;
• Preferred to have data analytics platform/app development experience;
• Preferred to have some of the front end development skills such as: JS, HTML5, Mobile,etc.
• Working experience in an agile development environment is a plus.
• Good knowledge of AWS 9SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, Elastic Beanstalk) and software deployments is a plus
