The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) contributes towards Income’s vision of insurance made different by conceptualising and constructing new business models and insurance offerings for the digital-first consumer. With the advent of new technologies, the premise of insurance is being rewritten today. Some examples include the first rainsurance in Singapore which protects individuals against fare surge on ride-hailing platforms such as Grab, Go-Jek and the first micro-insurance in Southeast Asia which offers flexible pay-per-trip micro premium and accumulative coverage for Grab drivers.

The opportunity is to be part of a product launch team for a New Business Model in the pipeline. As part of the launch team, you are responsible for customer advocacy, where you represent the voice of the customer on their feedback about their experiences with and expectations for our new product. It focuses on customer needs, expectations, understanding and product improvement.

Key Responsibilities include:

(BAU Activities – 70%)

  • Support launch of a New Business Model
  • Conduct customer interview and solution testing as part of design centric development process, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and precursor to shape content copy
  • Conceptualise new ideas alongside team and shape solution positioning to market, including Marketing, Content Structure etc
  • Work with launch team to drive pre-sign up campaigns and design launch marketing campaign
  • Product operations
  • Be involved in partnerships meetings
  • Competitive analysis, research and market sizing
  • Craft external pitches and be exposed to deal structuring, business modelling and partnership contracting

(Divisional Project – 30%)

  • Be involved as part of the FutureX team to facilitate a virtual case competition for undergraduates and internal staff
