Novelship is seeking a UI/UX Design Intern based in Singapore to join our team. The period for this internship is 3-6 months, starting ASAP, with the option of extension and full time conversion depending on performance.
As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will work closely with our Product Designers and Product Managers to produce high impact, user-centric design solutions. You will gain valuable insights and practical experiences that form a solid foundation for your career as a UI/UX Designer.
In this role you will:
Collaborate with our Product Designers to craft intuitive UX/UI solutions that addresses our customer’s needs.
Create, improve and implement wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
Continuously design, ship and improve on our platform’s features based on data and user behaviour.
Together with the Product Team, conduct user interviews and apply them into clear, actionable insights into their behaviour.
Keen eye on interface design.
What we are looking for:
A quick learner who is proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced tech start-up environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Commitment to understanding and researching the user’s needs and experience
Genuine interest to pursue a career in user experience design
Requirements:
Final year students and recent design graduates preferred.
Proficient with interface design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD
Familiarity with user experience theories.
Portfolio of your most recent work.
Knowledge of sneakers and streetwear is a huge plus
