Job Description

Job Title: Communications & Patient Advocacy Intern

Duration: July – September 2026 (Minimum 10 weeks)

Location: Singapore

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the Communications & Patient Advocacy (C&PA) team. This role offers hands-on experience across digital content, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Website Content Development

  • Support the development and updating of website content using in-house templates
  • Ensure content is clear, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines

2. LinkedIn Content & Calendar Management

  • Assist in planning and managing the LinkedIn content calendar
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and the PR agency to develop and publish content
  • Track engagement and support basic performance reporting

3. Event Support – Novartis 40th Anniversary

  • Provide coordination and execution support for the 40th Anniversary event (August 2026)
  • Assist with event materials, logistics, and on-site support where required

4. Media Monitoring & Reporting

  • Support monthly media monitoring using Meltwater
  • Compile and summarise coverage reports for internal stakeholders

5. Ad Hoc Support

  • Provide general administrative and project support to the Communications & Patient Advocacy team as needed


Learning Outcomes

By the end of the internship, the intern will:

  • Gain practical experience in corporate communications and patient advocacy within the healthcare industry
  • Develop skills in content creation, editing, and digital channel management
  • Understand how to plan and execute social media campaigns in collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Build exposure to event planning and execution, including stakeholder coordination
  • Learn how to analyse media coverage and derive insights from monitoring tools
  • Strengthen project management, organisation, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Enhance professional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Interest in communications, public relations, or healthcare
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks
