Job Description

Objective of role:

• Being introduced to the full spectrum of HR functions through work practice.

• Hands-on experience in planning, facilitation, execution and managing of HR matters that is involved in the full employee life-cycle (from recruitment - date joined - exit from company).

 

Key accountabilities:

Recruitment

• Support end-to-end recruitment cycle of various positions

• Manage end-to-end intern recruitment cycle

• Source & review (comparisons) external recruiters

• Uploading of Job Advertisements on online platforms

• Conduct Reference Checks

• Support Offer & Acceptance Process

 

Employee On-boarding

• Furnish of employment letters

• Overseeing and facilitate new hires with employment pass applications

• Support in liaising with hiring managers for effective induction programs to support smooth transition into the business.

• Follow up with new hire for onboard job progression through the 7-30-60-90days onboarding interviews (survey).

 

Payroll

• Guided to conduct payroll cycle(s), from preparation to approval, and submission for bank clearance.

 

HR Events & Campaigns

• Support the planning of the various employee engagement programs in Norbreeze.

• Sourcing of vendors/liaisons for catering and/or activities.

• Tracking of timeline and set up reminders.

• Sourcing of prize souvenirs / certifications for rewarding acknowledgement to performing employees.

• Reporting of observations made.

 

Administrative and Supplementing Projects

• Update of employee listing and information

• Crafting of presentation decks for HR projects as and when needed.

• Crafting and execution HR survey exercises with data collation for supporting evidence to understand climate of employee career journey. (e.g. Employee Satisfaction Survey exercise & Annual Performance Appraisal exercises)

 

Key attributes:

• Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Management of equivalent

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills

• Effective time management & prioritization skills

• Creative, meticulous with an eye for details

• Resourceful, fast and efficient and able to work independently
