Founded in 1952, PPIS is a non-profit organisation focused on community services. PPIS is dedicated to working with women of all ages in carrying out their multiple roles in society.We run three core community services, namely Family Services, Student Care, and a Residential Facility, serving as a secular halfway house for women engaged in community rehabilitation programmes. With 10 centres island-wide, the services work together to provide quality and holistic support and developmental programmes for women and their families across the different phases of their lives.
Job Objective:
The RED Intern supports RED’s mission to deepen understanding of local Muslim women through evidence-based insights and to amplify their voices across communities. The role contributes to ongoing research and engagement efforts by providing administrative and operational support for ad-hoc projects, stakeholder engagements, and the day-to-day operations of RED Space.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with desk research, literature reviews, data compilation, and development of research tools.
Coordinating fieldwork, maintaining research data, and preparing summaries, reports, and presentations.
Supporting engagement activities such as dialogues, workshops, and focus groups, including logistics and stakeholder liaison.
Managing day-to-day operations of RED Space, including bookings, programme facilitation, and documentation.
Providing general administrative support (scheduling, minute-taking, communications) and handling ad-hoc tasks related to research and engagement.
