As our Marketing Content Executive, you will be taught how to “sell me this pen”, by writing thought leadership articles, creating marketing campaigns, closing sales and forge partnerships with key players our ecosystem. You will learn how to negotiate, generate leads and do business development.
Job Duties:
- Content Marketing
- SEO Optimisation
- Learn and apply cutting-edge tools to find quality sales leads for Nimbus
- Using Website building CRM and software
- Send emails, schedule appointments
- Learn and perform cold calls, emails and outreach
- Generate warm referrals and leads for the business
- Business Development
- Identify valuable local services stakeholders in our ecosystems and find partnership opportunities with them
- Problem solve for issues that arises post sales
- Create touch points that delight the clients
What will I get to learn?
Cross-training is something we firmly believe in here at Nimbus. While your function might be in the marketing team here at HQ, you will also be provided responsibilities where you get to learn more broadly about sales, technology and product building. Some of these tasks you’ll be exposed to includes:
- Potentially running events helpful for lead generation
- Creating online/offline marketing campaigns
- Shaping the service experience at Nimbus
- The technical bits of our trade
What skills do I need?
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight deadlines.
- Verbal and written fluency in the English language required.
- Verbal and written fluency in Mandarin preferred.

Who will I be working closely with?
Daniel Thong (Co-Founder)
Daniel has worked in tech for 3 years, helping to launch 2 previous startups from scratch. One in a business development capacity and the other as Country Manager.
Fun Fact: He used to be a former Naval Diver, a Philosophy and Economics major and a historian at Oxford. He loves to build socially impactful businesses and Nimbus is pretty much what occupies him most of the time.
