About Nightjar Films

Nightjar Films is a Singapore-based production company creating scripted content for television, digital platforms, and emerging formats. Our work spans drama, comedy, vertical series, and narrative development, with a focus on strong characters, engaging stories, and audience-driven entertainment.

As the media landscape changes, Nightjar is expanding into AI-assisted content creation through a new AIGC arm. This team will explore how generative AI can support storytelling across development, pre-production, visual creation, editing, and short-form narrative content.

We are not interested in AI as a gimmick. We are interested in using new tools to tell better stories, move faster, test ideas, and create original content for modern audiences.

Joining this team means working at the intersection of film, technology, and storytelling — helping build practical AI production workflows while contributing to real narrative projects.

Job Description

AIGC Production Assistant / Intern

Nightjar Films — AI Content ArmRemote / Work From Home | Flexible Hours | Singapore-based preferredMonthly stipend: Up to SGD 1,000

Nightjar Films is looking for AIGC Production Assistants / Interns to join our new AI content arm, working across narrative experiments, vertical drama, short-form content, and cinematic storytelling projects.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is tech-savvy, curious, and excited by the future of AI-assisted production — but who also understands that tools are only useful when they help tell a better story.

You do not need years of industry experience. We are open to interns, new graduates, and early-career creatives who are hungry to learn, fast with new tools, and able to work independently.

What You’ll Do

You will assist with the creation of AI-generated and AI-assisted narrative content, including:

  • Generating and refining images, video, and story assets using AIGC tools
  • Helping develop characters, worlds, scenes, and visual references
  • Testing AI workflows for short films, vertical drama, and social media content
  • Preparing prompts, shot references, moodboards, and production materials
  • Organizing files, outputs, versions, and creative references
  • Assisting with edits, captions, thumbnails, and basic social content packaging
  • Supporting Nightjar’s narrative development and production team when needed

The work will be mostly remote. You can manage your own hours, as long as deadlines are met and communication is clear.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software quickly
  • Interested in AI, filmmaking, storytelling, and digital content
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Good at taking notes, following direction, and improving through feedback
  • Curious about how AI can be used in real production workflows
  • Comfortable experimenting, failing, and trying again
  • Interested in narrative content, not just random AI visuals

Bonus if you have experience with any of the following:

  • Midjourney, Runway, Kling, Seedance, Veo, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, Suno, Topaz, or similar AI tools
  • DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop, Canva, or After Effects
  • Writing, editing, filmmaking, animation, social media, or YouTube content
  • Prompting, visual development, storyboarding, or thumbnail creation

What This Role Is Not

This is not a traditional admin internship.

This is also not just “make cool AI images all day.”

You will be helping build repeatable workflows for AI-assisted storytelling. The right person should care about story, character, emotion, and audience response — not just aesthetics.
