Job Description

Team Information

The Company of Good connects organisations with a community of like-minded corporate givers to build capabilities in integrating doing good with business strategy and goals. Organisations can sign up for initiatives such as the Company of Good Fellowship and Champions of Good, a national platform recognising leadership and partnerships in doing good for the community. Company of Good serves the wider City of Good vision, of which National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is a steward.

Projects

Content remains as one of our key tools in engaging both new and existing stakeholders, establishing Company of Good as a thought leader in the corporate giving space while building on the compelling business case for corporate social responsibility. The Content & Marketing Intern will learn and support all spectrums of marketing for the Company of Good and its various programmes, such as the Company of Good Fellowship, Champions of Good and Company of Good Community Series.

Learning Opportunity

The intern will pick up skills in all areas of marketing, particularly in content creation, social media marketing, digital marketing and project management. In a fast-paced and ever-changing field, the intern will learn how to adapt and pick up relevant skills quickly to perform to the best of their abilities.

Responsibilities

CONTENT

The intern will be ideating and creating visual and written content for Company of Good’s various owned channels, such as the Company of Good Linkedin page, monthly e-newsletter, direct messaging channels and website. This can take on various forms that the intern can contribute in:

  • Curating, creating and tracking useful and relevant content for Company of Good channels
  • Re-purposing content for the various channels, keeping in mind the user behaviours and patterns for the channels
  • Designing banners, infographics and other artworks to accompany the content
  • Tracking and reporting results and performance of the various content and mediums
  • Analyse and draw insights from marketing performance data and suggest optimisation options


MARKETING: CHAMPIONS OF GOOD

  • Ideating and executing the Champions of Good campaign, in promoting it as a prestigious status to attain – through reinforcing the branding/narrative of what being a Champion of Good is
  • Supporting work in coordinating with external partners for the Champions of Good conferment, such as our event organiser and media partners among others

PROJECT AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for cross-functional collaboration and updates
  • Liaise with external partners, vendors or suppliers (e.g. agencies and media publications)
  • Liaise with Company of Good members (companies and their representatives)
  • Ensure that project timelines are adhered to

MISC:

  • Event or content support where necessary at Company of Good events, such as Company of Good Fellowship, Community Series, Business Leaders’ Giving Network, and others
  • Administrative or misc. duties where required

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn
  • Eye for creative design
  • Interest in content creation and digital marketing
  • Good organisation and coordination capabilities
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Bilingual
  • Able to commit 5 working days a week
