Mysavvytutor Pte Ltd – Marketing Executive

1. Traineeship Description

This position reports to the Founders of the Company and interfaces with company managers. 2. Specific Responsibilities 

•  To work with marketing agencies to plan & execute effective customer acquisition strategies by keeping customer acquisition cost low.
• To plan and implement innovative cost-effective marketing ideas and create marketing collaterals to enhance the Company brand and image in the region.
• To design, market, maintain & update an active & responsive social media network to drive sales, product profile & maintain a consistent presence.
• To assist the marketing department to build and maintain an effective ecommerce and merchant website, specifically focusing on front-end website design and functionality. This involves working closely with tech development teams.
• To assess new market opportunities for product launch & put forward marketing implementation plans.
• May be required to support business development team in product showcase and management of potential clients.

3. Competencies & Skills Trainees will learn during Traineeship

•  Trainee will learn to create digital media content relevant for Business Partner campaigns.
• Trainee will learn how to plan and write marketing proposals.
• Trainee will be able to understand the different marketing channels and strategies required to grow the B2C and B2B market.
• Trainee will get familiarised with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques to drive organic traffic to company website.
• Trainee will learn how to implement marketing campaigns.
• Trainee will learn how to optimise and refine marketing strategies.
• Trainee will be able to exhibit their talent in content creation.
• Trainee gets to build confidence when pitching marketing ideas to clients/colleagues.
• Trainee gets to improve problem solving skills & better analytical thinking by dissecting underperforming campaigns and propose enhancements, to generate better results.
• Trainee gets to keep up to date with new technological development in the market and be in the know with new industry trends.

4. Education Qualifications Required for the Traineeship Role

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications/Marketing or Business Administration or Management.
• Strong Communication and Excellent Writing Skills (English and Mandarin). Beneficial to be able to also speak Mandarin, and other Asian languages.
• Proficient with MS programs and savvy with social media mediums.
• Knowledge of SEO and Adobe Suite software are a bonus, simple photo editing skills are preferred.

5. Duration of Traineeship Offered

• 9 months

6. Eligibility Criteria

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
• Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities or overseas institutions); or
• Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.
