Job Description
We looking for committed and passionate freelance translators (for broadcasts) to join the team!
Scope:
- Interpret broadcasts (such as radio news etc) into written summaries from source to targeted language (ie. CHI-ENG and MAL-ENG).
Requirements:
- Attention to details and some basic understanding of technical keyword terms and interpretation (briefing will be provided)
- Good command of vernacular Chinese/ Malay/ English required to perform the translation.
- Able to work at allocated slot timing based on newspaper publish timings
- Able to commit long term will be preferred.
The assignment is usually from 6:00 am to 9:00 am, every Monday to Friday. Freelancers can work from home using their own laptop devices.
