MyRepublic Labs is the software innovation center of MyRepublic Group. The team specializes in the development and evolution of MyRepublic's industry leading BSS/OSS platform that enables agility and automation across the group's 4 operating markets. With a core focus in software engineering, the team adopts best-in-class technologies, methodologies and standards to push the boundaries of disruption for the TelcoTech industry.
Candidates will be given opportunities to be involved in our mobility project. He/she will gain experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with focus on the area of quality assurance in the testing phase of SDLC.
Candidates' primary role will be
- To assist with the planning, development and creation of test scenarios and test cases for application software.
- To execute the planned test cases and document the results and output.
- To escalate problems and issues during testing
- To track test progress and issue resolution.
Candidates may also assist with other duties related to the project, having highest exposure possible to various aspects of software development.
Intended Learning Outcomes:
- Hands on experience of software development
- Industry experience of a development house
- Project and time management
- Team work
Preferred Skill Sets:
- Knowledge and experience in Application Software Testing and writing test specifications (plans, cases, script and data) is preferred (not mandatory).
- Knowledge in test documentation, defect analysis, tracking and reporting.
