The media intern will assist with the marketing efforts of Mums & Babes marketing team through editing and possibly producing videos for online use and in other media. This position will participate, as necessary, in pre-shoot planning, and be responsible for editing raw video footage, incorporating a variety of digital video effects, and converting video to various output specifications.
Responsibilities will include:
- Functioning as lead person in editing raw video footage on a wide variety of subjects representing lifestyle of a product and promo-related projects
- Researching and recommending new and innovative digital editing effects.
- Maintaining video files and preparing written recommendations for future projects
- Possibly producing new videos
- Other Communications media projects, as needed
Skills Needed:
- Proficiency with Final Cut Pro editing system
- Experience with various sound and video media types
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Must be self sufficient and a self starter
- Ability to think creatively and to share ideas
