Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

IT Infrastructure

  • Work closely with management committee in ensuring the best IT Infrastructure in place for Muhammadiyah Association as a whole.
  • Oversee all IT functions, including network administration, system administration, hardware/software maintenance, cybersecurity, and data management.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure efficient deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Manage user support services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Supervise helpdesk operations to deliver high-quality end-user service.

Project Management

  • Execute and coordinate IT-related projects ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Coordinate with other departments and institutions to gather requirements, create project plans, and manage the execution of said projects.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and recommend solutions.
  • Supervise the IT staff in executing the IT Department workplan on a quarterly basis.

Administration

  • Prepare regular monthly reports for review by General Secretary.
  • Negotiate and liaise with external IT vendors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms.
  • Handle end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, evaluation, and contract management, while ensuring SOP compliance.
  • Provide basic training to end-users to optimize IT system tool usage and productivity.

Additional duties

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by CEO or Management Committee.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related studies with 2 to 3 or more years of working experience
  • Positive attitude with a team-player mindset with good communications and problem-solving skill
  • Team player and be independent in executing work-related jobs.
