Mr Popiah Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based food company specialising in popiah skin, spring roll pastry, ready-to-eat wraps, and other convenient food products. As part of its business growth and innovation, the company also explores new concepts such as Umami, a modern flavour-focused brand that reflects its expansion into new food experiences.
We are looking for a hands-on and creative Marketing Intern to support our marketing team.
This role offers exposure to digital marketing, retail marketing, and on-ground F&B campaigns, including product launches, supermarket activations, and kiosk promotions. You will work closely with the marketing, sales, and design teams to execute campaigns and grow brand awareness across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Social Media
- Assist in creating content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu
- Support filming and editing of short-form videos (product, lifestyle, behind-the-scenes)
- Assist with captions, content ideas, and social media planning
- Support content shoots for both retail products and kiosk offerings
2. Marketing Materials (POSM & Ads)
- Assist in developing marketing materials such as:
- Posters
- In-store POSM (wobblers, shelf talkers, standees)
- Digital ads (Meta Ads, Google Ads visuals)
- Work closely with the designer to ensure visuals align with brand direction
- Support preparation of materials for supermarket listings and kiosk promotions
3. Retail Marketing (Supermarkets & Events)
- Support retail marketing execution in supermarkets (e.g., FairPrice, minimarts)
- Assist in tracking in-store visibility, promotions, and competitor activity
- Collect store photos and organise reports from merchandisers/promoters
- Support roadshows, sampling events, and festive activations
4. F&B Kiosk Marketing
- Assist in creating promotional materials for kiosk campaigns
- Support execution of in-store promotions and new product launches
- Ensure consistency of branding across menu boards, posters, and digital screens
- Help brainstorm and execute campaigns to drive footfall and awareness
5. E-Commerce & Online Platforms
- Assist in updating product listings on Shopee, TikTok Shop, and other platforms
- Support uploading visuals, updating promotions, and maintaining product pages
- Assist with campaign setup for key periods (e.g., 9.9, 11.11, festive campaigns)
6. Influencer & Campaign Support
- Assist in sourcing and coordinating with influencers/KOLs
- Help prepare PR kits and track deliverables
- Support campaign execution and content collection
7. Market Research & Reporting
- Conduct research on competitors, pricing, and market trends
- Assist in preparing simple reports on campaign performance and insights
- Monitor social media trends and suggest content ideas
8. Administrative Support
- Assist in organising marketing assets and campaign files
- Support logistics for photoshoots, events, and product sampling
- Provide general support to the marketing team when required
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Interest in food, retail, and social media marketing
- Basic skills in content creation (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar tools)
- Comfortable with filming or appearing in content (preferred but not required)
- Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
